drewchowen is NOT my name. I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Drew Ave., & Chowen was the street on the other side of the block. As cliché as it may read I was crazy about music from the day I was old enough to drop the needle on my dad’s record collection and attempted to play his guitar. Christopher Heille is the name on my passport and driver’s license. If you can pronounce “Heille” I’ll buy you dinner.
“Songwriter,” “Producer,” “Collaborator,” “Artist,” - they’re all extensions of a similar idea. If it makes you wanna move and has a hint of the unexpected without disrupting the groove, if the ear worm sticks around after a listen or two - maybe we like the same stuff.
Still based in Minneapolis. (Working remotely is something I perfected long before the pandemic.) HMU to collab or link up ideas.
